The faces behind our shops
What makes sales at Tchibo so special?
Tchibo is a big family for me
"What I like best is the contact with customers. No two customers are the same and the work is never monotonous or boring. Tchibo is a family business, which means I work in a friendly and open environment. As a trainee I also benefit from a lot of advanced training (especially about coffee) and I am allowed to take a lot of responsibility during my apprenticeship. During my trainee project, I even acted as deputy shop manager."
Drinking coffee? A kind of work disease
"When I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a cashier. Now I run a Tchibo shop and am super proud of what we offer our customers. By the way, I've only been drinking coffee since I started working here. Before that, I didn't know how exciting the world of coffee could be. We learn all that at training courses. I'm glad that I am able to sell our customers products that I'm really convinced about myself.”
Laura Niewerth, Shop Manager
