Why am I not receiving any e-mails from Tchibo?
Depending on your provider, it may be that our mails are ending up in a spam folder or cannot be delivered for some reason. You can always check the current application status in your application profile online.

Why is a cover letter not required?
For many of our positions, we ask you questions about your motivation as part of the application, instead of in a separate cover letter. This way you describe why you would like to become part of the Tchibo team and what interests you about the specific position. Of course, you can also upload a cover letter if you wish, just attach it to your CV.
Is there a maximum size for my application documents?
Unfortunately, you cannot upload more than 10 MB in our applicant portal. Feel free to save your documents as a PDF. This way you can make sure that everything fits and is compatible despite different programs and systems.
How do I know if a vacancy is still current?
As long as a job ad is online, you can still apply.
Can I apply for more than one job at the same time?
Yes, it is possible. We would be pleased if you are interested in several of our jobs!
Are unsolicited applications possible at Tchibo?
At the moment this is not possible. However, you can register for our job subscription: This way you will always receive notification of all jobs that match your search criteria as they are posted.
How do I stay up to date on current Tchibo job offers?

Are there specific deadlines that I have to consider for my Tchibo application?
Yes, there are: You should apply as early as possible, especially for an apprenticeship or our dual study programmes. The general rule is that as long as a position is visible online, you can still apply.
Can I edit my profile in the Tchibo applicant portal after I have submitted my application?
Unfortunately, once posted you are not able to revise your application itself. However, you can update the personal data in your applicant profile and upload new documents. These would be included if you make a further application. Can I also apply to Tchibo on paper?
No, we do not accept applications on paper. There is no need to, because you can easily apply for any position online in our Tchibo applicant portal.
Can I check the status of my Tchibo application? If so, where?
Yes, you can check the status of your application at any time in your profile on the Tchibo applicant portal. Simply open the "Job applications" tab. You will find the current status alongside the respective application.
I don’t speak German, does it make sense for me to apply?
German is our company language and there are only a few teams that (exclusively) speak English. Therefore, we only consider applicants with German language skills at level B2 or higher, unless otherwise stated in the job advertisement. If German is not your native language, please attach a certificate of German proficiency with your application.
Can I also work for Tchibo from abroad?
Fancy a change of scenery? Flexibility is important to us, so with our location-flexible working model you can work for up to 10 calendar days a year (equivalent to 2 weeks) from all european countries, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Turkey.
